Designing with the World: Towards a New Relationship with Matter
DOI:

This issue proposes rethinking the understanding of matter, moving from seeing it as a mere available resource to considering it as a relational and emergent phenomenon, capable of intra-acting with humans and environments. These eight articles show how situated and collaborative practices allow us to recognize the agency of matter and its active participation in the co-production of the world, guided by an ethics of responsible and regenerative design that integrates the material, the social, and the political.
